YCN: SCAVI & RAY - Research

I began looking at existing champagne/prossecco packaging and bottles to see what was already out there for inspiration before me and Issy could begin our initial ideas and designs.

Moet packaging-
I really love the idea of the diagonal positioning with in the packaging its innovative and different from other packaging.This idea has been produced for valentines day promoting there rose edition.

This Veuve Clicquot packaging has been used to make an ice bucket. 


I imagined when we had designed our new scavi and ray bottle and packaging where it would be sold and the types of people who would drink it. I think these images show a good representation of a venue where the product could be sold.




Existing Packing :

I next looked at some existing packaging and bottle design for wines and other products to gain some inspiration and ideas. 






I really like how minimal this branding is using a simplistic pattern design for the bottle tops and simply numbers for the middle of the bottles.

This pattern design is really contemporary and would work really well for the Scavi & Ray campaign , bottle design and other promotional material.


I think this pattern used for the bottle would work well for Scavi and Ray although I do feel it would be to high end for the audience.

Minimal design , frosted bottle-

After looking at variety of existing material Issy and i decided we would try a minimal pattern theme to apply to the bottle and other promotional material.
