Student Publication - Aesthetics Research

STUDENT MAGAZINE - AESTHETICS RESEARCH

Sam and i decided to do some further aesthetics research for our student magazine.. We felt as though the publication should reflect our corse as much as possible so we wanted to see what types of interactive and more creative magazines were already out there.

I like the idea of having the front of a publication being folded it makes it a bit more creative and stand out from other publications. 

The same again we felt the idea of having different size pages would work well.

Minimal Design:

I also like the idea of having a cover that goes around the book but is attached.

This was my favourite example we looked at i feel it would be appropriate for the style of publication we are doing.

We need to consider other possible solutions for the publication to make it as creative as possible. The idea of laser cutting a shape from the publication would work well.

This is the style i would like to produce our publication in. I especially like the use of bold type and minimal aesthetics.
